Just curious since it seems most are actual cleaner waxes that remove the previous coat (ie: Meg. Gold class etc)
So what can be bought at Crappy Tire or places similar that is a wax you can layer?
thanks,

There are very few products that can truly layer to build coats. Most over-the-counter products contain light polishes, cleaners, or abrasives in the formula. Even products that do not contain cleaners or abrasives are usually loaded with strong solvent (naphtha, kerosene, strong spirits, etc) that would practically remove the previous coat.
The only product that I have found locally that will layer is DuraGloss Clear Coat Polish #111. It contains no cleaners and is a synthetic silicone polymer product. I have found it at NAPA and CarQuest stores. Oh, and their car wash and QD products are great too for local stuff! :thumb:
