transmission slips when cornering, but not in straight line driving.
I have ask a few people and no answers.

once before I was going around a corner at wot in 2nd and I thought it was starting to slip real bad, but then it down shifted into first and broke the tires loose.

today I was going around the same corner at 1/2 throtle in 2nd and it did just start slipping and no down shift. it has got me stumped. its full of fluid.

 

Even though the dipstick is "reading" correctly, it sounds like you are slightly low on fluid. Try adding a half of a quart, and see if this "improves" the situation, it should. Some dipsticks, read incorrectly.
