Im not 100% positive, but I thought the Baldwin Motion SS's in 69 only came with the Muncee 4spd manual... Im lookin at one in California, supposedly all original, wants 13k for it, says its got a built 350 with an automatic trans... I thought they were only 4 spds.... Any info would be helpful!!

They were only 4-spd and 427's not 350's. What year is it ? You might want to post this in the first-gen section here.

Motion DID make some 350's.
I HIGHLY suspect its a REAL one for that price, unless its a basket case.
The ONLY way to find out is to pay $1000 to Joel Rosen (Mr Motion) with the VIN and he will confirm or deny it. Unless there's some OTHER substancial paperwork to go with it........
I know someone that works for him and this has been discussed in depth....

There were Motion cars that were not Baldwin/Motion. Anybody could take any car to Motion to have it modified and that's what some of the Motion 350 cars are. That's different from the Baldwin/Motion 427 cars. They were ordered new through Baldwin Chevrolet and went straight to Motion for the modifications. I think Joel charges $1500 to check the VIN, but if the car isn't a real Motion car, you're still out the $1500. For that price, assume it's not a real car.
