Do I follow the instructions for Mother's Claybar?

I'm just about to go out and do this....

I bought the claybar, and it comes with this spray bottle of stuff and warns to not use water to lubricate.

Will I just follow the directions in the box? Thanks.

For the most part, but you can alos use about a cap full of car wash into 16 ounces of water to make your own clay lube.

They are warning not to use straight water alone, because water does not provide the slickness and lubricity that the clay needs. As Kevin mentioned, you can use a car wash solution mixed with water, which I always prefer myself. I add about 1 capful of soap to a 5 gallon bucket, make a bunch of suds, then start claying.

Using a QD product or a car wash product are usually recommended.
