Ferocity02 07-18-2003, 12:30 AM Those are awesome. Yes, they do look very expensive. Please post some pics if you end up getting them!!! :thumb:
aircop40 07-18-2003, 12:40 AM i havent heard of them but they do look very nice. even if they are expensive, i say get them if that is what you want. that is what i did and i still wouldnt have done it any different. those would no doubt look great on a Z. :D
kandied91z 07-18-2003, 01:43 AM beautiful 545's!!
i've been contemplating those as well. only reason i haven't is because i want a fat lip look to the wheel. what options did you get with yours and about how long did it take to recieve them?
they look polished, are they?
98 PURPLEHAZE 07-18-2003, 11:20 AM those are sweet...get them and post pics. How wide are they.

thanks!! :D my rears actually have a real nice lip to them. i got mine polished and clear coated. i originally wanted the chrome but the guy i talked to at HRE persuaded me into the polished because he said the finish is much more reliable? anyways they say 4-6 weeks to get them and if i remember right i waited about 4-5 weeks and they were on my door step. they included all the lug nuts and valve stem caps as well with the price of the wheel. :D
chuckys95 07-18-2003, 12:27 PM Boze alloys have been around for about 3-4 years now, i haven't heard anything bad about them at all!;)
kandied91z 07-18-2003, 04:39 PM the aero wheels are a very nice wheel as well.
what are the differences between the two hre and i forged as they look pretty close?

i priced the same setup from HRE (19f and 20r) and it was $5500.00 with a cheaper painted center, Iforged is kind of a knock off of HRE but the same look, my wheels from Iforged (19f and 20r) but with the more expensive polished centers was $2900.00 shipped to my door. PLUS HRE would not put a lip on the wheels as big as i got from Iforged.
.............Iforged does something that no other wheel manufacturer does, which is when they are cutting the centers, they shave the thickness of the mounting pad down alot (before they drill the lug holes) and then they drill the lug holes more shallow, thus pulling the center of the wheel in further allowing more of a lip on the outer rim..
hope this helps ya!;)
94BlackBowtie 07-18-2003, 05:29 PM Man - funny that I just saw this topic today...
I just heard of them today!
Those definitely make the list of my top 5 favotrites. If you can afford them, get them!
kandied91z 07-18-2003, 05:35 PM they are resonably priced with all other good wheels.
400-500 depending on where and what options unlike the hre, iforged, etc at 1,000+ a wheel.
rim choice is so critical yet so personal....it's a tough decision i tell you.
:)
pimpedoutracer 07-18-2003, 06:04 PM imo i think look to block like for ours cars.
but i could change my mind if i see them on a car
Birdie2000 07-18-2003, 07:03 PM Jeff, if you for some reason want to get HRE Wheels, talk to ATI Motorsports (http://www.atimotorsports.com) over in Wixom, MI. The guy I was talking to from there indicated that they can get custom HRE's in a matter of days if you want.
AW/whiteZ-28 07-18-2003, 08:32 PM I guess it's just me but it looks like a truck wheel :blah:
kandied91z 07-18-2003, 08:40 PM scroll half way down this thread and you will get an idea of what they would look like on my car. now what do you think?

Poltergeist 07-19-2003, 11:12 AM I bought a set of BOZE Stixx for my El Camino. I'm very happy with the wheels. Very well made IMHO. Here's a picture of them on my Elky if you care to see them.
