help, cant burnout

hey, ill cut the the chase. i have a 2000 z28, manual. im going to the track this weekend and i cant do a burnout probably cause i have no idea how to. ive tried it but it has never been nice at all. i rev it up to 4,000 drop the clutch and step on the brake as fast as i can but i either stall or the back end kicks out and i start to do a donut :-(. how in the hell do i do this. please help me:confused:

You really dont need to rev it up that high i just rev it up a little pop the clutch floor it and poot my foot on the brake at the same time and dont push the brake to hard just enough to kee you from rolling

also make sure trac control is off:thumb:
but light rev, dump light brake and med gas , works for me everytime, :cool:

Unless you have Drag Radials or ET streets, you do not need to do a burnout. Roll through the water box and then bring the revs to 2500-3000 and pop the clutch enough to spin the tires a few then get off it.

Or just drive around the box and then spin your tires a little just to get the debris off. Street tires don't normally like heat.
