I posted in the local and for sale sections without a single bite. I think I should have targeted the drag racers from the start. Here goes:
Complete Chevy 355 CID S.B.C Long block $2,400 O.B.O
-4.030 bore X 3.48 stroke, block is fully machined, lifter valley oil plugs and screens installed, block is not filled
-Chevy Forged Crankshaft, ARP main bolts
-Chevy Pink Connecting, ARP bolts, rods resized, weight matched
-TRW 12.5:1 pistons
-Rotating Assembly is internally Balanced
-DART Sportsman Iron Heads, Screw in rocker studs, Guideplates, Manley Severe Duty Valves 2.05 Intake, 1.60 Exhaust. 64 cc chambers. High pressure roller springs good to .650 lift. Heads Ported by Patterson Racing.
-ARP head studs
-Custom ground Billet Roller cam .630 int. .585 ex.
-Crane Roller Lifters
-Crane Gold Race Roller Rocker Arms 1.5:1 ratio
-Crane Stud Girdle
-Hardened .100 long Pushrods
-Melling HV55 oil pump
-Hardened Oil Pump Drive
-Double Roller timing chain
-Chevrolet Embossed "Tall" Valve Covers
-Timing chain cover
-TCI Crankshaft Hub
-All new Felpro gaskets
-Engine is fully assembled
-Chrome 7 qt oil pan w/ trap door
-Chrome timing chain cover
0 runs on heads since freshened by Frank Bash engines, Less than 20 runs on bottom end. Engine fully dissassembled this June and everything checked then reassembled with all new gaskets. Motor went 10.02 @ 133 in 2500 pound car with 3 speed auto and 4.88 gear ratio, 32 inch rear tire. Super reliable combo, could be a really hot street setup with cam swap or a great Bracket motor at this price. Machine work alone costs close to half the asking price. Not included: oil pump pickup, Intake manifold, carb, Distributor, fuel pump, block off plate, water pump, and felpro 1206 intake gaskets are needed to complete engine.
