I want high timing file

My car is running good, but I want a file with steep timing curve. I think that my car should be turnning up faster and harder than it is.

I'm running @ 11.1 to 11.5 to 1 compression, and I can still run 87 octane with no knock or detonation, so I know there is plenty room for improvement.

I guess I could use the file that I have now with some coaching, or just use someone else's file that is about like my setup.

I have tunercat and freescan, so I have the equipment, I just need the leadership on the timing tables. New territory for me.

Thanks yall

David,

Have you taken your car to a dyno? I think to start with, you should have your car in good tune first then worry about timing. Timing variations of a few degrees won't make much of a power difference in the 2400+ RPM range. I assume you want to make the timing more aggesive on the ramp up from 1000 to 2400 area. Best done on a dyno where all can be calculated for your car specifically and any gains without knock can be clearly shown.
