I just installed a Thunder racing cam package, I went with the TR 224/224/114.
At the same time I ordered a ASP pully and installed them at the same time.
After putting 300 miles on the car took in to track with no tunning.
First runs:
2.307 8.675 88.55 13.109 111.99
2.254 8.615 88.61 13.048 111.42
Next runs are with Shaner S2 ported TB, for the record I wanted a Bauer TB, but couldn't find a core.
2.172 8.406 89.29 12.809 112.42
2.101 8.429 90.00 12.830 112.30
1.981 8.059 90.32 12.439 112.73
2.213 8.500 89.64 12.906 112.51
2.010 8.213 89.11 12.622 112.16
I'm not very happy with the cam right now, I'm waiting for tunning from Predator.
What d you guys think about these times?

You are trapping 112 with an A4, and pulling 2.3 60 ft times? you have the potential for mid-low 12's, sounds like a great cam! Get some new tires..get that 60 ft down, and you will be under that 12.6....good luck

Thanks for the replies, I was running 12.4's @ 110 before the cam, pully and TB on the same tires.
The night I ran these times the track sucked for traction.
But I feel with the pully and TB I could have ran 12.2's @ 111 or maybe even 112.
The car seems to be running really rich right now and the tunning should help it a lot.
Hopefully I get the tunning early this week and can try it out at the track Wendsday night.
I'll let you guys know.
Thanks
Andrew

Drew,
What was the weather like compared to your bests before the mods. I've seen this a million times. A person runs a personal best at 50°, 31.00 baro, and 40% humidity. Then does a bunch of mods and goes out in 90°, 30.00 baro, and 75% humidity and is mad cause he runs worse or a very little bit better.
And your 60' will rob down line numbers. Knock a couple/four tenths off of your 60' and you could increase a couple of MPH and a few tenths. When I went to my converter I had a simular situation. Because of wheel spin and poor 60s I wasn't running much better than before. After the ET streets and getting the 60s down I'm running not only 6-8 tenths quicker but also 2-3 MPH higher than ever.
You've got a good combo there:) Just get some traction and some tuning and I'm sure you'll be a happy camper:D

Thanks, the weather is alway about the same 75-80 degree's and around 70% humidity.
I know traction is a big deal now with more power down low.
I'm just having a hard time with starting the car in the morning and getting it to idle, not to mention the surging while coming to a stop :(
I hope the programming will fix all that, if not might be going with the LS-6 cam and get my nice stock idle back :)

There's very little doubt in my mind that the programming will solve these minor problems :) Whose doing the programming? Diablo or James/Bubba? Either one can get the job done.
Good luck, patience, and report back.
