quick steering wheel adapter question

I bought an aftermarket wheel for my 89 blazer. The truck was wrecked, before I call the salvage yard to pick it up, I was wondering if the steering wheel adapter for it will work on my 86 iroc. So I could swap the two wheels before the truck gets picked up.
