will a 1995 trans am headunit work in a 1995 z28 with a delco/bose cd headunit?

my stock headunit won't play cd's... will a trans am one from the same year work?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I would assume if both head units are for the same sound system setup ie: bose or just normal stock it should plug in just fine. I also think that it would go into the dash just the same too. A big side note would be #1 none of the nobs or anything would match(not a biggie) but also #2 pontiac stock stereo's have that bright red illumination and in my personal opinion that would look aweful mixed with the illumination of our interior lights. Just my opinion though.

i do not think it would bolt up correct.

I have one out of my 98 Ws6 if you want to try test fitting it/ test to see if it will work.
