Heres the scoop. I just bought a 99 Z28 from a dealership about 3 weeks ago. The car has 24,000 miles on it. After about a week, I noticed that the transmission made a clicking noise when you put it in reverse or drive (auto tran. by the way). I thought that the transmission hit 2nd pretty hard, but since I had a v6 camaro before this one, I thought it was normal. Well, a friend of mine is a mechanic at a speed shop and after listening to me leave his house and said that it had a shift kit. I haven't gotten back to him to ask if it is natural, so here I am. My question is has anybody had this experience!!! How much might it cost to take it to check out. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated
