Has anyone bought/installed one of the new Harwood SS hoods for '98-02's? The price is only $420 and the I was told that the shipping to here in Wisconsin is $89. I talked to a company rep today who, of course, said they fit perfectly. What to you think??? (Harwood always had a pretty good reputation.)

I have one and am very happy with it, however it did not fit perfectly. The dealer had to shave it quite a bit and it never quite fit as good as a stock ss hood, but it still looks good. Check it out on my car at: http://home.austin.rr.com/abarus/Harwood.html
Pay special attention to the area where the hood meets the nose.

You might want to look into whether or not it comes painted majority of the time the after market SS hoods don't come painted.

Its probably better that way because unless your car is brand new the paint probably wouldn't match exactly.
