i dont think so man, the pressure is still around 950-1000 :D :p ;)
Timberwolf 07-07-2003, 11:16 PM perhaps you blew a fuse. you will feel a 75 shot, trust me :)

really??? hmmm, last time i check all of my solenoids is opening.....
JSK333 07-07-2003, 11:37 PM Yes, you will feel it. Make sure your WOT switch is being tripped (check placement, etc., test by opening the throttle manually).

did that already. i'm getting tired of this crap. i spent more than $1000 in preparation, and i could not even feel the difference.....
my purge is working fine, but is it possible that my nitrous is not working??
JSK333 07-08-2003, 12:12 AM Sure it's possible. It's very likely something in the arming circuit.
Have you tried having someone hold the nozzle in a can/jug, hold down the WOT switch, then you slowly bring the revs up to where you set your window switch to come on? If it doesn't come on, then the switch is set wrong, is broken, isn't wired correctly, etc.
When I first installed my RPM window switch it looked like it was set how I wanted it (3000 on, 5800 off), but it was actually the opposite (5800 on, 3000 off), which obviously made it never work.
Double check it and try the test above.
The other thing is, if your exhaust isn't HUGELY LOUD, then you'll also be able to HEAR the nitrous when it engages, just like when you purge it.

Yep, that would indicate the N2O solenoid not activiating. How are you tripping the solenoid? button? WOT switch? Either way operates independently of the purge. Unhook your -4 line going from the nitrous solenoid to the injector. Duct tape it to something solid so you can watch the end of the hose. MAke sure you do this... you don't want 100 psi going through that hose if its not secured... you'll put your eye out kid! lol
Now check it out again and see if any nitrous comes through when activated... If not, you have a problem.
rpm4lalo 07-08-2003, 03:46 PM Yes you will feel it. Heck you can feel a 50 shot, at least in the lower gears.
Wild1 07-08-2003, 05:21 PM Yeah, it is NOT a good idea to test it connected to the engine with the engine off.. next time you start it and if the manifold is filled with N2O, you may need a new hood scoop to cover the 3'x3' hole.;)
