part# db4201-12 which means 42inches on 12 rib. I would use a dreyco but need a part # and vender. Where do you all buy your blower belts from?

Thanks Bill

Semi-truck part places usually have them too. Usuall the number of ribs and the length is all you need. A lot of them the last 3 numbers is the length in inches.... xxxxxx400 would be 40.0" long.

I found that Gates only makes that size for ATI. I bought a 41 inch from NAPA and it would not fit. I called Gates directly and they said they made the 42 inch but that they only sold that belt to ATI.

ATI charges $75 for a 42 inch belt and NAPA charges about $37 for a 41 inch.

What are you gonna do?

If anyone knows a cheaper way to buy a 42 inch belt.......

Smaller pully and more boost :p j/k . LOL Thats the problem I'm having. I put a 41 on before, but it was not fun and takes 2 poeple. So I had to pay 75 from ati as well.

Anyone use Dreyco belts, I only ask because thats what my brother uses(Novi blower).

Anyone know gates phone number? There based out of the UK and I cant find a state side number.

I'd just get a dayco polycog belt. They should have one in your size. I bought a goodyear gatorback poly belt from summit a year or so ago. All I did was give them the gates part number and they sent the correct belt to me.

IMO I would just run two 6-rib gatorback belts.

Would this work?

i might try it. I keep chewing up belts and these Goodyear ones would be cheaper I assume.

Are you sure your NAPA does not have it? I am in the Military and have been in many different places and all the NAPA's that I went to had my belt. If it was not in stock they ordered it. I am talking about when I was at FT Stewart GA(by Savannah), FT Benning GA, about 1.5 hours South of Atlanta, and Victorville CA.

I have got mine at A-line Auto parts. They always seem to have what no one else does.

Didn't Kmook run 2 6 rib belts and run into problems with it as well as some others?? I would get the single myself. IF you find a good parts counter guy he will find the belt you are after. Years back when i worked at Carquest in the warehouse they even had cogged belts like for blowers :| big ole mofo's

Industrial truck shops and hutchins (in WNY) carry them. :)
