What are my options for inter/after cooling my s-trim setup???

The difference in performance when my car is cold and when it is warmed up is so big it's almost pathetic... I need cold air BAD. I don't like the aftercooler setup... I'd rather go intercooler, but I'd like to know what my options are. Would I have to get custom tubing etc. or are there any direct bolt on kits? Anybody with experience please chime in.

I know you said you dont like the Vortech aftercooler, but I bought one for my 96 Z28 and it really made a huge difference the IAT are way lower, the only down sides are the price, and it doesnt work real great in 100 degree temperature in stop and go traffic. I am really pleased with it overall though.
