I have a question. What would be the safe amount of boost i could run through a 350 TPI with stock compression.
Im thinking of putting a ati procharger next summer and the stage 2 is pushing around 14-15 psi, Just wondering if i have to change out to lower compression pistions.....
Thanks,
James Lennon

James,
For your 9.3 to 1 C.R., you won't have to lower your compression, but the weak link are the stock cast pistons. I'd limit boost on an intercooled setup to 10 psig max unless you go with forged pistons. The stock crank and rods are surprisingly strong and will support around 450 hp, possibly more.

I can't make any recommendations for pistons because I have a 305. The only know of two brands that make forged for a 305. But for a 350, the choices are almost limitless.
Yes, I am a little weird. Not only do I like bells and whistles (gauges and LED's) -- you should see my latest additions -- four digital gagues, but who in their right mind would build a 305??? (Not too many of us around.)
