I ordered a street twin, 12 bolt, and a fuel pump for a 150 shot. I have a t56 and want to go ALL OUT out of the hole on slicks. I'll do a massive burnout, but am unsure wut rpm's to drop the hammer at, if i hear correctly the street twin will take it and ask for more :) Wut kinda times should i expect, and wut 60' times are typical for 150 shots outta the hole with this setup, thanks....

i would say somewhere around 3500-4500 or so,if the tires hook, and the output shaft doesnt snap off,i dont see 11.5-11.7's being much of a problem,IF you shift it right.

I would keep the rpm's up 4000+ My reason for this is it will help kill some of the torque the No2 makes. (ever look at a dyno sheet on a spray engine). No2 makes tons of torque down low and thats what will hurt your parts. I never raced a stick shift camaro
but used to have a Corbra stang that i would leave at 5000 w/ a 150 shot on slicks 373's and a stock clutch.Never hurt a thing.
Made for some cool pics though.:D

BS!
Leaving on a stock clutch dumping it at 5k on juice? i highly doubt that.

When i tried to leave at a lower RPM 3800-4000 it smoked the1st clutch in about 5 passes. Pulled all my mods off took the car in for Warrenty. Reinstalled and started leavin at 4700-5000 then ran this setup for 2 more yrs tuned it into a 11.94 @114 We even drove the car to the track EVERY time. Bolt on slicks a go
BELIEVE IT have time slips pics and a Fun Ford Shootout trophy to prove it. Sold the car 2 yrs ago and went chevy.;)
awesome, I'd love an 11 second pass :). I'm not worried about the drivetrain, a 12 bolt and a street twin can take it, if it does break there is nothing else to replace it cuz those are the best on the market. I'll let u know how it goes, i'm gonna go all out :).

sure, the rear and clutch might not break, how about the ddriveshaft and tranny though?

i might wanna do some suspension if u dont have any
i have subframe connectors, and boxed lca's. I think i should be OK with those. The driveshaft is steel, no fancy aluminum it should hold up, have a DS safety loop just in case. As far as the tranny, i hear the borg warner t56 is built like a tank, i shouldn't have to worry about it internally blowing up except maybe the output shaft, which isn't that big of a deal. I'll let u guys know what happens, i can't wait :)
