So what are some of your reasons for loving or hating nitrous are any of you saving for a charger instead. I'm still tryin to decide which route to go, obviously having supercharger with power all the time is what everyone would want, but blowing the engine is not. Will the nitrous kill the engine anyway where it needs a rebuild after say four or five years. I'm also talkin about using mild ntrous shots nothing more than say 125. I know the engine will last a while, but how long. I'm trying to figure out the longterm cost of each induction. It seems nitrous is expensive to recharge and over time adds up if you use it alot. Over a period of say 1 year, whats the cost you spend

well, i like the juice better and don't regret it. Even though the last 3 weeks i filled up on 5 bottles of juice at $40 a pop. And this weekend I'll prob use 2 more bottles since I'm shootin a vid. :p

actually, now that u mention it i spend more on nitrous then on food... lol

i should look into being a authorized nitrous vendor and get two 90lb tanks for just my personal use, haha.

Well, I've just "converted" from nitrous to bolwer back to nitrous.:p The problem I had with the blower is the tuning issues. I could never get the car to rus as well with the blower as it did on spray. I was trapping at 115-116 with n2o and around 110-112 with the vortech. Now i'm running 11.5:1 so the blower isn't even an option.

N2O refills add up but to me it sure is alot easier to shell out $35-$40 a pop than $3500 all at once. :D

Not bad... $35 is cheaper than 2 lap dances. ;) Hmmm... It's all about priorities.

I went with nitrous because i believed my stock longblock wouldnt be as fast with boost as it is with bottle. Stock compression is too high for much boost.

I am thinking about going to a boosted setup this winter, but nothing is set in stone, nitrous has done me good for 10 years.

As far as lasting,i dont see a problem with small shot's as long as you have a great tuneup and supporting systems.

I like N20 because if you are running a stock motor you stilll get the same gas milage untill you turn it on.

You dont have it running all the time. Not a whole lot of guys running blowers daily.

Alot easyer to tune

The look on peoples faces when you blow by them like they are standing still and are wondering what is that thing.(it sounded stock)

The things I like about blowers some make the blower sound thats cool in my book.

its there all the time dont have to fill bottels.

And another thing I like about N20 if a S/C car out runs me by a fender I can put in a bigger jet and run agian.
