how do you install a MSD window switch??

i got my window switch. i got my pills to set the nitrous to shut off at. i got a red pill to start the nitrous with. i got all the wires and everything, but i dont know how to install it. can somebody give me a diagram or instructions or something to install this thing on an LT1??? thanks guys :bow:

did u check the MSD website?? You can prob DL it fro there. SOrry i don't know off hand what color wires go where. Maybe someone else does but I'd do a search on the manufacturer website first. Good luck

i tried to go to msd website, but i could not find it. is it that easy to install though?? i'm calling a performance shop nearby to install it, i just cant figure it out...:(

Try this. It should help you out. I put one in when I installed my NX kit.

I have one set up on my dry NOS kit. The wiring goes as following:
Red - 12v source, I hooked it directly to the positive side of the battery
Black - Ground
White - RPM signal, if you've got a MSD box it's plug and play. Otherwise you have to find the white wire for the tach signal
Yellow - this provides a ground for the nitrous kit. The nitrous relay should have a ground wire, or, in the NOS kit, the throttle microswitch has and end that should be grounded.

dont i have to connect some wires to my coil?? does LT1 have coils?? thanks for the help, i'm just too much of an idiot to understand ut

Err..as far as I know you have to find the wire that provides the signal for the tacho.
The LT1 has one coil. Ls1's have eight:blah:
