Mounting bottle in Spare tire wheel well..

A few months ago there was a link that showed the measurments and such for making a mount for the wheel well.

I did a search and could not find it anyone have a link to it? Its a 10lb bottle btw.

I dont have any pic but yes it will fit with 2 brackets and if you use only 1 I can fit a 15 pounder

yes thats where i have mine mounted....i used a plywood board as a base it looks good

measurements anyone? I want to do the same thing, rest the bottle on a board.

Looks good i might try it that way.

The mount i was refering to was something someone had fabed up using some metal plates. It mounted to the spare tire bracket and then mounted across to the other side.

Now a few weeks ago someone had some measurements and how to make this. Looks simple just like to get it right and the diagram would make it a lot easier.

hows it going Travis, I'm from Bardstown. Usually race at ohio valley(louisville) or Hardinsburg. I mounted the bottle directly to the wheel well. Put the tall bracket on bottom and the short one on top, exactly oppisite of how its supposed to be. I drain every bottle, so it gives me a good angle. Make sure u get the siphon tube in the right spot.

Heres my 15lb bottle mounted in the spare tire well!!! Sorry don't remember the measurements, I just started fabbing the post to screw into the car to mount the bottle and next thing I knew it was done!!!
