what is the biggest tire you can fit on the rear?

 

This has been asked a few times. The key is the rear wheel offset. I have Weld Pro Star 15x8, with a 275/60R/15 tucked up under the rear quarter panel. My car is lowered with a drag suspension set up. (1977 Z/28). It fits fine, and looks badass. A 295/50 would be cooler still, but thats a really tough tire to make fit properly with stock suspension.

 

i got 295/50/15s on my 72 camaro on 15x8 draglites with 4 inches of backspacing. they tuck in perfect and do not rub.
