if i get a cutout, would a muffler make it sound louder, quieter, what??? If so, will i see any gains from a muffler and a cutout at the same time installed, or should i just keep the cutout by itself??? Need help kinda confused. Thanx. If it does gain, i
need help on choosing a muffler, want something thats free flowing and loud, any suggestions.

From my limited experience on my cutout, it just dumps the exaust before it even hits the muffler so a different muffler wouldn't change a thing.

Only a slight bit actually exits the muffler. So if you're planning on a cutout I wouldnt worry about the muffler unless you think the cutout is too loud and want the flow all the time.

So if i think the cutout is too loud, i should get a dynomax bullet muffler to quiet it down???? if it does, should i weld it before or after the cutout.

Really what I meant was a muffler in place of the stock one, or an aftermarket cat back. That's what I though you were asking. The stock mufflers don't flow well. It'd be a whole lot easier to get an electric or mechanical cutout lid that way you could open it whenever you were at the track or come across a race on the street.
