SA: Medina Lake GTG 7/12/03

Okay it's official, we're going to Medina Lake (cruise, BBQ, & fun). We will be meeting up at the old Albertsons on Bandera and 1604 most likely early in the morning (not that early :D ). So let's get a head count to see who is going. Also put down something you can bring so we'll know what we have to eat and cook. Thanks...

I'll bring some hamburgers buns, and charcoal.

Hey Ben, just to check, how far of a drive is it to Medina Lake??

20 miles tops, it's not that far from here.

I'll probably have the In-laws in town. Good reason to get out of the house!!! So I should be there.
I can bring a couple bottles of Coke and stuff.

for 150/100 respectively. I'll even throw in a 3" band clamp for free.

Heres the deal aunt & uncle are there that day said we could park there so we wouldnt have to pay parking, and have access to the trailor RR etc. for a boat launch we have to enter bobs cove (nearest ramp) and i think they charge 5$ or so to get in.
Road to the trailor is not paved shouldnt be a very long road.

I'm in, I guess I bring some food too but I don't know what to take. Seeing as the road is not paved I don't think I'll take the TA. I need to buy some takeoff wheels just for these occasions. How long are we gonna be out there? Any boating, jetskiing or swimming?

I'll be there too. I was going to bring a boat but found out that is has no compression in #1 cylinder. I will try to find another boat.

PG I have some wheels from a v6 that you can have they have rubber on them but I wouldn't drive on them.

If you can plug in a TV you can install that window motor... ;) It's all nuts/bolts and the only electrical connection is a plug.

Actually Eddie we had a MOD day last year at my house that I sponsered and payed for out of my own pocket for food, beverages, plates, and other things. We also help each other out for FREE a lot! I ATAP everyone's cars for free because that's how I am. Don't criticize something when you don't know what's going on. Maybe you should show up once in awhile and get to know everyone. In fact even Ryan will give out advice on how to fix things and does so much for everyone and it's why we always recommend him.

I remember that mod day at ben, he hooked us up with hotdogs and soda and we all took turns working on each others cars. I helped out too and we didn't even get to do mine since we ran late. But hey it was fun.

I'll be there, with the better half, but wont be able to stay at the lake too long. We have a late afternoon meeting with the builders. We will finally have a garage big enough to fit both our cars in.:D :cool:

BTW, are children of the 4-legged variety invited? I have 2 that could use a day in the woods/water.;)

I think I can be there by 10am. Ben, PM me if you are short on any food/drinks/etc. I got on this a little late so I dunno what everyone is already bringing.
