Basic mod questions....?

Hey guys,

I have a basically stock '99 Z28 M6 with the sport appearance package & tan leather int with 27k miles on it. I've installed a shift knob and a K&N filter element and I'm ready for more. Haven't been to the track yet, I'm kinda waiting until I can get a better clutch because I am not impressed with the stock unit. What do you guys suggest as a first round of basic mods? I was thinking about doing intake (lid,MAF,TB) and exhaust (possibly headers, & catback). Should I go with one of the pre-built exhaust systems or should I have a custom setup installed? Also, does dual exhaust make that much difference on our cars?

Also, I don't want to make any drag-only modifications as I would like to autox this car occasionally as well.

Thanks

I just want basic mods, maybe $1500 max. Mid 12s are my goal...considering nitrous but I'd like to get the motor breathing better before I throw in some juice.

Hey, have you ever thought of proof reading your messages before you send them? Half the time your thoughts don't even make sense. Take a typing class!!!!
