difference TA & FormulaStreetSharkZ'02 06-06-2002, 10:14 PM what are the differences besides appearence,, Isn't true there's also like a $2000 diffference? just curious WillieD 06-06-2002, 11:56 PM The T/A comes with Leather as a standard opion, has the raised spoiler, side skirts, different front clip, and different rear bumper. ------------------ '02 Formula (http://www.willied.cz28.com/photo2.html) M6 Tri Flo Exhaust, B&M Shifter, Whisper Lid, !CAGS, FRA My old 97 Formula (http://www.willied.cz28.com/photo.html) "I'm not speeding, I'm qualifying." StreetSharkZ'02 06-07-2002, 03:11 PM oh yeah, aren't t-tops standard on a TA as well? Ws6cott 06-07-2002, 05:45 PM The major differance is....the formula looks better...lol J/J http://web.camaross.com/bb/wink.gif The formula is comparable to the lx 5.0 mustang. Its a bit simpler and is basically a sleeper Trans Am. It has the full apperance of a 3800 with the muscle of the ls1. The Formula does run a few bucks cheaper... ------------------ Authorized Dealer of Corbeau (http://www.clubconceptz.com) seats and harnesses... It was an option before that. Every car is started as a v6 firebird then you pick options. Trans am is acuatully just a option just like Formula is. So the Formula came first. God gives man the ablitiy to make a perfect car hence the formula man desides to try to improve on gods work...Hence you get a overweight Trans am. StreetSharkZ'02 06-09-2002, 01:14 PM it seems most of you guys like the formula looks better than Trans Am's. i like The TAs a little better because the spoiler looks totally awesome. i like the TA fron better too. i'm going to Pontiac.com and find out the real perormance differences because i know there is some. STROKED_LT1_Z 06-09-2002, 05:14 PM There are no performance differences between a Trans Am and a Formula. The drivetrains are identical. The Trans Am has more bells and whistles, but nothing more performance-wise. racehead 06-09-2002, 07:03 PM Think of the Formula as kind of a poor man's Trans Am ! And the WS6 as the pinnacle to which ALL muscle cars aspire to be ! lol ! Naturally my opinion is totally unbiased . ------------------ '71 RS/Z28 550 hp 454 ,M6,4 wheel discs,Guldstrand Bilsteins,Aluminum F/W w/Centerforce etc ---------- '01 WS6 M6 NOS 5177,B&M Ripper,Borla,Eibach Pro's ,U/D pulleys,Whisper/K&N,Passport SR1 BG ram air mod,TB bypass,CAGS,TC Module Koni DA's/front ,Bilstein/rears , Granatelli 200 mph gauges 13.145 @ 111.60 ( 1st and only run !) | ||
