I am going to build a new engine - I am shooting for 450-500 horse power with a small block. I am about to buy the parts - I have nothing yet. Money isn't really an issue, and gas milage certainly isn't.

I was thinking of building a stroker motor - I havn't done this yet. There were a few options at this Eagle stroker kit I was looking at - for instance flat top vs. dished pistons. What else should I use to get the HP I am looking for?

Just a note - I having a tranny shop build up a Turbo 350 to handle the HP

Hey fbud, these questions should be posted in a gen spacific tech forum. I will move it to 3rd gen for you. Thanks.

Why do you want to build a NEW motor? Your exsisting 350 has plenty of potential to attain 450-500hp and this would eliminate you having to buy new everything ($$$). I see in your sig youve already got P/P Vortec heads and R/R. If I were you, I'd keep the motor, next thing I'd do is a cam.

I just purchased a 70 1/2 - It has no motor no tranny.
