Th 350 swap

I did a search and posted this in general tech to no avail, so if it dosent belong here please delete. I am switching my 94 z28 over to a th 350 and am wondering what tranny to use (short or long tail), what (if any) stock drive shafts will interchange (to get it going for now)what crossmember to use, what does the hurst swap kit come with, and what is everyone doing for a shifter.
