I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this and I feel ridiculous asking it but does my car have a clear coat? 96 SS
I'm about to try meguiars Gold Class, and it is made specifically for cars with clear coats..Just making sure http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif

Yes, most all domestic cars have been cleared since the late 80's.

Yes, it most definitely has clear...
The Gold Class will leave an initially nice shine, but it doesn't last long at all. http://web.camaross.com/bb/frown.gif It's one of Meguiar's least durable products....just be sure to wax often with it to keep up the gloss.

I was using McGuires Gold, but switched to Zaino. IMO, The gold is good but nothing I've seen or used makes your car look like Zaino.
