Procharger guys > Restictor in air line going to FMU?

Just a quick question for you Procharger guys >

I have been re-routing some vacumm lines under the hood in order to remove the AIR and fuel vapor purge system and make a better PCV system for my 95 Procharged TA.

I don't have the Procharger install instructions anymore, so I have a question.

There is a y-fitting that goes to the Procharger FMU. In that fitting is a small brass restictor.

Is the air restrictor in the vacumm line needed for the vacumm/boost signal that enters the FMU? I am not sure if this y-fitting even goes to the FMU per the Procharger instructions.

Thanks,
Ron

It's been a while since I ran the FMU but I don't recall a "Y" fitting being in the equation, unless you used it to splice into an existing vaccuum line. The restrictor goes just before the FMU.

Brady_96Z posted my instuction manual at www.turbocharged.net
