Okay. i have a 355, 2.02 heads, weiand intake, holley 600 carb, and a k&n filter with filter top. The heads and intake have a fresh port and polish. but now i sorta wanna get the Edelbrock Performer RPM airgap intake, dual plane. of course id have to get a 3 inch cowl induction.

what would be better? freshly ported and polished intake, or a RPM airgap and a cowl, so engine would have a lot cooler air goin in and more of it, cuz it would be goin from the top now too.

what would it do for horsepower? i run 300 at the rear now, and like 13.4 in the 1\4 mile.

Id say go for it..The power increase may be 10-15 HP over the standard weiand dual plane intake..You wont need more intake than an air gap..From the guys that have tested it on flowbenches ive found that its damn near vic jr area without the low end loss.
