Lower a-arms got me -1.5 camber, is this good?

I installed my lower control arms from PA racing. Went in for an alignment, good caster and toe, -1.7 camber. I adjusted the bolt holes and got -1.5, is this too much for the street? One gain I got is the massive front end plowing understeer caused by the rear drag radials has disappeared. The car tracks where the wheels point and slowly and smoothly the car transitions to oversteer. The solid bearings really translate what the tires are doing. Should I adjust them or leave them the way they are. thanks in advance.

I think 1.5 deg negative camber is "perfect" for street and also very competitive on the track with solid bushings like you have. I have been using 1.5 neg camber for 5 years and my tires always were very evenly (no excessive wear on inner edges of tires).

LG motorsports recommends 1.5 neg camber for use on their boxed steel front lower control arms using spherical rod ends, which I use with Global West upper control arms.

Enjoy it!

I think anywhere from 1-2 degrees is fine. The stock setting wore the outside edges of my front tires. With 1 degree it seems to have pretty even wear. Still a little on the outer edge but a lot better. I'd say 1.5 is probably perfect.

Awesome, that means I nailed it on the first shot and don't have to take it apart again. Thanks! :thumb:

The bottom line here is do you like the way the car turns, is the wear pattern good and is the car predictable? Sounds like you nailed it, congrats!
