Or should I just use Z5... I've got a few swirls that I want to get rid of on my motorbike tank... (from crappy cloths, and nufinish... before I learned the Zaino process!!! ;-)

So... should I use a swirl remover before covering with Z5, or should I just use Z5.. they aren't major swirls, but they are visible..

Thanks!

Just use the Z5.

From my experience, I have to recommend getting your finish in as close to perfect condition as you possibly can before applying Zaino. Everything (else) about Zaino is great! But the swirl filling/hiding aspect of Zaino is the only part I was disappointed with. Now, maybe what I had (have) should more accurately be described as "light scratching" rather than swirls.

I should also say, though, that I don't particularly like Meguiar's #9. IMHO, it's hard to remove unless you time it (the drying) just right. It also seems to fill swirls more than remove them, which fools you into thinking they're gone when they aren't. It makes a nice shine, but the imperfections come back once the silicone is washed away.

Good Luck!!

I use the Meguiers pre-paint cleaner to remove my waterspots before I add Zaino and it works alot better
