MILESF 06-06-2002, 01:15 PM Right now I have about 8 coats total of Z5 and Z2. Do I need to re-apply Z1 ever again?

DohHunter 06-06-2002, 02:47 PM Well, the only coat of Z1 I have used on my '02 is the first.....I subsequently used ZFX when I needed it, and just the Z5/Z2 other times.
On my old GTP, before ZFX was available, I would reapply Z1 every 5 coats of polish. I found it was an EXCELLENT cleaner.
I recomment you apply another one, I probably will anyways even though I'm using ZFX. Like I said, I liked its cleaning properties.

You use Z-1 on the first appplication and then every 6 months on a daily driver and once every 12 months on a show car.

If you have ZFX, you do not ever have to use Z-1, in other words Z-1 is not used in conjuction with ZFX activated polishes.

MILESF 06-07-2002, 07:15 AM Thanks, kevin. Do I apply it in the same way: Z1, let dry, do not remove, apply Z2 on top of Z1, let dry completly then remove?
Thanks

Actually, Z-1 never dries by itself unless it comes into contact with Z-2,3, or 5 (it is kinda like part A and B mixing glue) Z-1 is ready for Z-2,3,or 5 as soon as the Z-1 touches the paint.

I don't use Z1 with ZFX activiated polish at the same time........I will use Z1 occasionally with a non ZFX coat for cleaning purposes.
