Opinions on GFX being diff color than body?

My WW F1 GFX finally came in today and I put them up temporarily for a test fit using props underneath each piece to hold them up to the body. They're currently painted white... with them 'installed' the car still looked half-way decent. Of course white on Mystic Teal doesn't exactly match but I was thinking that maybe a metallic silver would go nicely? I currently have the grill inserts, front bowtie and the rear CAMARO lettering painted silver. The entire front end had been re-painted Mystic Teal so there isn't any black around the headlight area and front piece to clash with it.

I believe its the newer Monte Carlo's that have the factory GFX silver? I'm just wondering if it'd be a little too much though on the Camaro :\ I still plan on having them shot to match the body color this week but I'm entertaining other ideas to set the car off, tastefully, of course

I would keep it one colour
I think the body painted in different colors takes away all the "classines" of any car

My car is Medium Patroit Red. The roof, rear view mirrors and Z28 emblems are black. So I painted my GFX black and it looks HOTTT!

Pics PLEASE!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing, same color scheme. Along with black wheels.

I figured I could paint the GFX black myself, and it would be super easy to touch up when (and I know I will) hit stuff.

i think, if you had an orange car, with black 69 ss stipes up the side, with black ground effects, it might be kinda sweet because with the 69 stripes, you could kinda "blend" the different colors by "easing" it in the the stripes...i dunno just a thought.

I would think that a car with GFX that were painted a darker color than the body would be more subtle. I think I'd like that better but I believe I'm going to go ahead with just spraying them Mystic Teal

If any of you need help with hosting pics just hit me up with a PM or e-mail and I'll host them for ya.

I think all body panels (including gfx) need to be the same color, or else it looks like an unfinished job, or like rice. Just my .02
