looking for towels & applicator help!!!

hey
i had my wife get me field crest towels,white bath size,100% usa cotton,she bitched at how much they cost but i did not because they are for my black 2002 ss[345 hp] i cut off the side binding and always fold the towels to miss that other approx. 1 inch wide decorative sh*t,i am using zaino zfx,with z2 &z5,and 100% usa cotton applicators ,also using correct polish motion per zaino tips,i have noticed some new light scratches in the directions i am polishing,I SOMEHOW AM ADDING LIGHT SCRATCHES TO MY BLACK SS BY POLISHING IT!!!!! i am trying to use all the advice i read but still am disappointed with my results!!i am thinking it must be the the towels and app. pads , i need to get the correct towels and pads in my hands NOW!! i welcome all ADVICE

I don't know exactly what you have been doing but I will throw these out and see if they apply:

1. only use Fieldcrest Royal Velvets or Fieldcrest Charisma towels bought in bed, bath, and beyond or better stores in the mall (or the ones I sell which are the same, I just buy them factory direct for my towel cutting and sewing business)

2. only wash them with liquid detergent, no powder, the powder can scratch the car

3. if using the Zaino applicators, you must wash them out completely with warm soapy water before the polish dries on them in order to re use them
