How long should I let Klass Glaze dry?

Would 3-4 hours in 65-75 degree weather (in shade) be fine? The directions say overnight is best....but is that necessary? I just tried wiping it off and it seems fine.

I usually let the Klasse SG cure for at least 1 hour, usually 2, and everything turns out fine. 3 to 4 hours is more than sufficient for Klasse in warm weather. Klasse, like most polymeric products, benefits from as long a cure time as possible, which is why they recommend overnight. The theory is that the longer you let it cure, the better it will bond to the surface. In reality, I think it completely bonds in a couple of hours. Don't be afraid to experiment with it though, you never know when a slight change in application may reap better results...

I should add that this is just the way I use Klasse and it seems to work. Maybe some of the more experienced Klasse users can give you better pointers. I have heard several different methods of using Klasse so you may want to dig further into the product tricks and tips to learn more about what generally works best for the K users. yeah mike,

i'm lurking in the shadows as usual.. http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif

as for cure time, 1 hour works fine for me, but i guess if you (davey) can wait longer you may get even better results.

let us know!

davey,

i also forgot to mention that properautocare.com also carries a high-gloss acrylic spritz called "SONUS" made exclusively to go along with KLASSE that absolutely ROCKS!!

this stuff is acrylic and made of the same ingredients as KLASSE. give your car a spraydown with it after washing/waxing with KLASSE and the results will positively astound you. it adds even more slipperiness and wetttnesss to the already fantabulous gloss of KLASSE glaze.
