Wonder if this means the ad's for Chevy will be changing...

Kim Kosak is moving from director of advertising and sales promotion at GM's Cadillac brand to general director of advertising and sales promotion at Chevrolet. The move marks her return to Chevrolet, where she had been assistant brand manager for marketing on the Silverado pickup until her move to Cadillac four years ago. The shift is effective immediately
...
Ms. Kosak's successor at Cadillac is Christopher Hamer, director of marketing communications at GM's OnStar unit. He had been in that job since arriving at GM in July 2001 from Priceline.com, where he was vice president for online strategy.

I agree... the Impala SS commercial was very lame...
Chevrolet REALLY needs advertising help any way they can get it. Their commercials are idiotic and I don't think we are the only 1's that noticed. ;)

Wel.......... I hope the new guy at Cadillac doesn't mess with the work that Kosak has left behind... the BreakThrough ads are nice, and fit the new attitude at Cadillac.

There are so many cool commercials out there. I have an idea! Why doesn't Chevy find some good ones and just copy them.
Has anyone seen the commercial with the Infinti M45. Something about the "muscle car with intelligence" It shows an M45 prowling streets full of cool muscle cars. And the M45 looks like it could have them for lunch....while the driver is in high tech, luxurious comfort.
It sure beats the wimpy poop butt driving an Impala SS ad.
Here's a cool commercial:

Here is the M45 ad. Click on "Ghost Town".

The Nissan M45 thing was an entire marketing ploy that had more than just commercials. My brother got a CD and a DVD Rom (I don't have a DVD player in my PC so I still don't know what all is one there) but that is how we saw the commercial in the first place. The ad was very nice indeed although I wouldn't necessarily classify the M45 as a "muscle-car" simply because it has an "M" designation. It is a luxury car period, but they did use the best cars (classic muscle) to bring in the point.
Overall I think that Nissan has some really good commercials. The Z comms. are very nicely done... while the maxima ones new and old very very nice. (I loved the one where the guy is chasing the sunset)...
Cadillac has some really good ads, but I feel that the song is getting a little stale. It is awesome no doubt but I think Cadillac needs to have more ads with 50 cent or Jay Z on BET... something more appealing to the MTV crowd.
