Only thing I can think of is to split the nuts with a chisel or air hammer. How in the heck do you strip lugs?

Tried the vice grips....Nothing. (I know left is loose)
But as far as stripping them.....these lug nuts are sh!tty!!! I think ones made out of aluminum foil would be better. But they damn sure are on there tight since I snapped 2 tools in half already from the pressure. After awhile I tried a breaker bar and nothing. Just a broke 1/2" to 3/8" adapter.

maybe someone else will like to chime in or disagree w/me, but it's just a thought. Have you tried adding a little heat? You may even be able to get a regular four way lug wrench, if you can find one that will fit and if your lugs aren't too far gone, add some heat via propane torch, put on the four way, six or seven foot pipe section on top of that and go at it. Just a couple thoughts. Hope this helps a little. ---J.Bird

I might be able to try that on one of them, but the other is too far gone. I mean damn near round. Bought ready to take a sledgehammer to it!!!

remember to if you ever get the lugs off, you only need 100ft lbs of torque to tighten them up

I havent ever taken the wheels off. I wouldnt have tightened em so much. Whoever the owner was before me either was retarded or brought it to a retard. I should just ****** up a torque wrench here from work. Damn things are expensive.

what you can do is buy a dremel with a round cutting bit and split them in half, then just pop them off

A while ago I had the same problem when I tried to put on my 17"s. The old lugnuts were rounded off, the 19mm socket was rotating on the nut and I was very hopeless.
Took car to the tire shop, and here's what they did: A gorilla like fella took two fuggin big hammers and started to beat the s** out of the lugnuts. After that he took the same 19mm socket with an impact wrench, and it came right off. By beating the lugnuts you basically "repair" the hexagon on the nut.

I see, now. You don't mean, they are stripped, you mean the lug nuts are rounded off. Have you tried one of those "gator-grip" (or whatever it is ) sockets?

My buddies car had rounded off lugs when he bought it and we had to beat a smaller socket on the rounded off lugs. It took a lot of beating and screaming but we managed to get all of the messed up lugs off withough breaking anything.

Hammer a smaller socket onto the messed up nuts. This was the old trick people used to get those special "locking" lug nuts off to if you lose the adapter.
