17" SS wheels -- weight savings...?DR.ZED 06-10-2003, 08:22 AM Have 17 silver SS wheels, with YokoA032R rubber. They will replace 16" salad shooters with GSCs. Ideas on weight savings/gain? (no kidding) :) Todd80Z28 07-20-2003, 11:07 PM I just checked this last week with a pro-grade people scale. 95Z 16x8 salad shooter with worn BFG Comp TA VR4 245/50/16- 42lbs 00SS 10spoke 17x9 with new Goodyear Eagle F1 GS 275/40/17- 45 lbs Again, that was with a people scale, so those absolutes might be off, but it illustrates the difference pretty well.
