Question Claybar - how often to use?

Well, I dawned, clayed, Z6, dried, and then applied Z5(zfx) about 3 coats. I'm going to put a couple coats of Z2(zfx) this weekend. My question is how often do I need to clay the car? I've heard once or twice a year? I thought a good wash with Z6 and after drying I should be good to apply more zaino. Comments? Suggestions?

I do a complete claying at the end of winter weather and then a few light clayings during the rest of the year. Maybe a couple more times behind the wheels, the nose and rear bumper.

If it is smooth, it doesn't need it, if it has a little build up, clay it lightly.
