Getting black ink out of leatherZack 04-17-2002, 11:40 PM ok, today my 5 year old cousin wrote all over the leather seats of my grandpas accord. I was wondering what the best thing to use on it to get it out? thanks McCain 04-18-2002, 12:40 AM That sucks. Try this, first try a regular quality leather cleaner like "Lexol". You can find it at your local auto store. If that doesn't work (it probably won't), try to find "Carbona" brand "Stain Devils". They have different solutions for different stains. they have a specific product for ink. They are packaged in little yellow plastic bottles. I buy them at my local Acme grocery store. I don't know if it is safe for leather, but it most likely is. The stuff works great. ------------------ 97' Anniv. Ed. It just makes my skin crawl to even say that! Bleach and Leather... it just sounds bad. But it worked for him without a problem. I think if I were to use that, it would be the very LAST resort after I tried every leather cleaner known to man and I would really test it somewhere first to make sure it wouldn't lighten the color of the leather. And I certainly wouldn't make a habit out of using it.
