Question Best/safest way to remove sticker on rear bumper?

The previous owner had placed a parking permit sticker on the rear bumper and I want to remove it, but I don't know what to in order to get it off. Which way would it be safest for the paint and ease of removal? Any solvents of some sort? Thanks guys.

you may want to try using a blow dryer, use it to heat the sticker up let it get warm peel a corner then apply heat under the sticker as us slowly peel it back , let the adhesive get warm,i used this method to remove 4x4 stickers off of the side of my truck, good luck

After you remove the sticker with a hair dryer/heat gun,use some type of adhesive remover (I like 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover for this as well as bugs, tar, etc).

Question

Thanks for the input guys. Will the adhesive remover harm the paint on the car? Thanks again.

No, 3M (and other)adhesive removers are designed for automotive applications. As long as you use it with a soft, clean towel and wash and wax the affected area after you remove the adhesive, you'll be fine. You may notice some slight-moderate difference in the shade of the paint under the sticker, depending on how long it was on,exposure to sun, etc.
