I would Z6 the car in between each coat, then apply at least 2 more coats of ZFX/Z5, since it's already mixed up. You can apply up to 3 coats of ZFX in one day, so not using the rest would be wasting the polish. 2 more coats of Z5 will really help fill in any marring or light swirls you may have. http://web.camaross.com/bb/smile.gif ------------------ *Mike's 1992 Camaro RS 25th Anniv.* (http://mls77.homestead.com/92camarors.html) Dark Red Metallic (ext.) / Flame Red (int.) Kevin V 2002 SS 04-03-2002, 09:22 PM I generally use the Z-6 between successive coats of polish, but it isn't absolutely necessary. If you have some ZFX/Z-5 mix still left, go ahead and use it, no sense in wasting it. If you don't have enough left for a full coat apply it to the nose, behind the wheels, the parts that may need the most protection or need the most swirls filled. ------------------ Kevin Villier, 2002 SS #186 - 6M with Hurst and "short-stick", TT, navy blue, chrome SS wheels, Bilstein suspension, SS grill, STB, SLP loudmouth, Direct-Flo lid with Holley filter and Mallory polished MAF ends.
