Got another certification todaydreamer1q 06-06-2003, 06:25 PM Passed my ASE certification. Got the notice in the mail today. So I am now officially a ASE certified parts specialist. Woo Hoo. Q Grover 06-06-2003, 06:38 PM Is there actually tests for this? dreamer1q 06-06-2003, 06:43 PM Originally posted by Grover Is there actually tests for this? They have tests for all kinds of auto related junk. My boss wants us all certified so he can advertise that we have a full staff of ASE certified parts specialists. Good idea I think, but a PITA. Q Grover 06-06-2003, 07:57 PM What kind of stuff do you have to know to be certified? TrouserSnake 06-06-2003, 08:41 PM Is there a book with the info that you will need to know? and a place to take the test I wouldnt mind getting certifed in something.... dreamer1q 06-06-2003, 10:49 PM Yeah, they have a book, it costs 45 bucks. As for what you need to know, just general auto knowledge for the most part. If you can tear a car down, put it back together and find the problems with what you did. You can pass. This is only the parts side of it. I'm not a licensed mechanic by any means. Only means I know my parts. Q CamaroSS30th 06-07-2003, 01:38 AM Any idea what the name of the book is? Shoot me an email if you can think of it. Thanks, Jay dreamer1q 06-07-2003, 08:45 AM Originally posted by CamaroSS30th Any idea what the name of the book is? Shoot me an email if you can think of it. Thanks, Jay Go to ASE's webpage, they give you links to study guides. From there just buy one that you need.
