Got another certification today

Passed my ASE certification. Got the notice in the mail today. So I am now officially a ASE certified parts specialist. Woo Hoo.:cool:

Is there a book with the info that you will need to know? and a place to take the test I wouldnt mind getting certifed in something....

Yeah, they have a book, it costs 45 bucks. As for what you need to know, just general auto knowledge for the most part. If you can tear a car down, put it back together and find the problems with what you did. You can pass. This is only the parts side of it. I'm not a licensed mechanic by any means. Only means I know my parts.

Jay Go to ASE's webpage, they give you links to study guides. From there just buy one that you need.

I just recent took the state test for brakes, and another for steering suspension and alignment. havent gotten the results back yet though. I got to take them for free!! :) because im a student at GASC. genessee area skill center
