Best way to clean my stock 99' 5-stars (not chrome). Any miracle chemicals?
Well, as stated in the subject, I've got rims from a 99' Z28 and they are the 5-stars that come stock with the 99-01 (not the chrome plated ones, the aluminum looking ones). I can't seem to get all the brake dust/grease off of them. I've used lots of cleaners like simple green and other degreasers but I still can't get off all the grime. Anyone have any miracle chemicals they could recommend? Thanks in advance.

I have the same wheels, and I had a similar problem... Meguire's Hot Rim's spray REALLY helped...
Spray it on a dry wheel, let it soak in 2 minutes, spray it off, and get in there with a towel, and almost everything came off... they were like new after 2 applications...
It comes in a clear neon-purple/pink bottle...
