Top side Weatherstrip on the rear window hatch

Top side Weatherstrip on the rear window hatch
This black strip is falling off of my 96 TA. Should I just take it off, or do any of you know of a good way to keep it on firmly? I'm talking about the strip that goes along the top of the hatch window.
