Anyway I dig the hood and the shaved look, car looks sweet. :D  TheV6Bird 06-02-2003, 10:40 PM  Mecham hood  How did that fit? CrkHedMat had that hood, but he hated the fit. He said it was such a horrible fit on his car. 95BlackTA 06-02-2003, 10:49 PM site dont work.... NO-Ten83 06-02-2003, 11:26 PM The Mecham hood fit ok - took a little work, but I think not much more than any other aftermarket hood. I thought about changing the grille out, but I have to have a front plate so I'm not sure what I can do that won't look like he!!. Sorry about the intermittant site issues, I only have a free account so if it gets too much traffic they shut it down for awhile. Thanks alot guys, Jack ProjectCamaro 06-03-2003, 02:10 AM Looks good, just get some new wheels and you'll be set. Ernster500 06-03-2003, 03:21 AM Interesting hood. Is it functional? Car looks great! E :thumb: NO-Ten83 06-03-2003, 04:41 AM Ty Ernster The hood is functional as a heat extractor - not as a ram air ( I have CAI and a sealed airbox anyhow). Those are metal inserts in the hood, kind of like a wire mesh - it is all open underneath, drawing the fresh air in the front and pushing hot air out the back. thanks man, Jack PC - the wheels will be here next week, will update the pics then. :-) | ||
