is there a kit to go from 93-97 body style front to 98+?glennxx1 06-02-2003, 01:03 PM the bumper hood and fenders? some kinda kit or no? Bralgar 06-02-2003, 01:53 PM A few salvage yards and vendors of fbods will sell the whole front as a 'kit' from a totaled fbod. Tbyrne is selling one right now in the forsale section. And SpeedAutomotive (which used to be a supporting vendor here) sells them on their site, but I won't link to it since they do not advertise here anymore. You're on your own in that regard. :D CeeBee94Z 06-02-2003, 01:58 PM Yea there is no actual "kit" that I know of...the best way to do it is to just search for the parts individually and you should find some good deals.... glennxx1 06-02-2003, 03:56 PM i mean do the fenders bolt right up? hood 2? CeeBee94Z 06-02-2003, 04:00 PM Yea for the most part they will, you may need new brackets for the hood, but thats about it...just make sure you get the fenders too... glennxx1 06-02-2003, 08:50 PM to use new headlights/front bumper i have to change : hood, fenders and front bumper? that all? chasmanz28 06-02-2003, 09:05 PM Originally posted by glennxx1 to use new headlights/front bumper i have to change : hood, fenders and front bumper? that all? isnt that enough, if you find oem parts its going to cost you close to 2 grand with new parts, so have fun looking around for used parts, like stated before tbyrne is selling a front clip for 1000 bucks, if your really going to do this conversion ide buy that clip quick Patman 06-03-2003, 05:10 AM I wish someone offered a kit to convert to a 98+ Firebird front end (not TA) I plan on swapping to that front end on my car in about 2-3 years when I repaint it (probably Sunset Orange) Brent94Z 06-03-2003, 09:54 AM I'll move this over to the Appearance Section. That is where this particular topic is talked about most. Good luck! tbyrne 06-03-2003, 02:37 PM The front clip that I have is really wanting to find a new home :) It's red and comes with the stock hood, fenders. nose, headlights and driving lights. I'll also include any supports to go along with it. Thanks, Tom www.tbyrnemotorsports.com It's Cochese! 06-03-2003, 06:36 PM Originally posted by tbyrne The front clip that I have is really wanting to find a new home :) It's red and comes with the stock hood, fenders. nose, headlights and driving lights. Thanks, Tom www.tbyrnemotorsports.com Why can't this be June 3, 2004 where I have the Z and can afford to do this? sahlomonic 06-03-2003, 10:45 PM To answer your question, YES, there is a conversion kit! Made by a company in Japan, it simply replaces the 93-97 front bumper with a retro-style 98-02. Uses same fenders, hood, AND headlights so you don't have to get 98+ ones. I'm trying to find the picture I saw a while ago, so I'll keep you updated when I find more info. Actually looks really good IMO.
