Is it possible to polish or shine anodized parts?

It seems as though a few of my anodized parts have faded or oxidized with age? Is there a product that would be damaging to anodize and be avoided? TIA

If you polished it, it would only remove the anodized color, you could wax them but I doubt that the color would come back.
